About

Baked goods and donations are prepared on Tuesday, and delivered to the coordinator’s house on Wednesday to be delivered to the camp on Thursday morning. Through the global pandemic, many people have had a hard time keeping stable jobs and homelessness has been on the rise. Small acts of kindness, such as compassionate notes and bread can make a big difference in someone’s day. During various holidays, our good friend Mary Lou comes up with riddles that she tapes on the bread baggies. They definitely make everyone laugh out loud! This is the goal of Thankful Tuesday, to put a smile on someone’s face.

Thankful Tuesday aims to provide assistance to a designated homeless camp on 183S, in which most of the 150 campers live in tents and/or on crates.

As of June 2023, fifty campers were housed in completed tiny shelters.  The goal by the end of 2023 is to have 50 more campers placed homes and then an additional 100 placed in shelters in 2024 for a total community of 200.

The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) is now on site to provide organization of meals, trailer showers, social workers, and they are building a community food area. 24/7 security is located at the camp entrance.

We would love your help.
